Going steady into our fourth year of business, we wanted to switch it up a little bit inside of the shop! Our two walls that run the length of our shop are made up of beautiful brick, and although we love that style for our business, sometimes it feels a little dark. And since we just love doing DIY projects around here, we thought why not recreate our main showcasing corner in the shop with a new surface and bright paint color!
We were feeling ambitious with this project and built a face of a wall over a portion of our existing brick wall. Once the 2x4s and sheets of plywood were up, we primed and painted the new wall, and the wall connected to our dressing rooms, a lovely blue color.
While we were at the whole painting gig, we painted the maroon stripe that is above our clothing racks to match the blue color in or newly redone corner!
Now that we are in love with our new accent corner, we added barn wood to match our other decor and cash wrap.
Shelf instillation time! Boards were cut and stained and placed on galvanized pipe bars for support. And just like that we have ourselves a super cute new corner to display our styled picks of the week, new arrivals we have fallen in love with, holiday gift sets and so so much more!
